Where Merit Matters

More than affordable, more than accessible, Christian higher education needs to be reliable.

Two New Books

Below are two new books that mention BJU. I haven't had a chance to look through the one with the FMA on the cover, but I'm guessing that it's kind of negative. Hopefully, Naomi Riley's book will be more journalistic and even-handed since she writes for the Wall Street Journal and the Weekly Standard (Fred Barnes is the executive editor there, and I got to here him speak in late September at Denison University). It will be in bookstores on January 6, and I can't wait to read it! The book description on Amazon reports that "In God On The Quad, Riley takes readers...to the infamous Bob Jones, post interracial dating ban, where zealous fundamentalists are studying fine art and great literature to help them assimilate into the nation's cultural centers."

The FMA on the cover of a book!
